Local metal gods Machete have decided to hold a CD release party at Eureka’s Red Fox Tavern. This seems an odd venue choice to those of us in A-town, but the addition of Dragged by Horses and The Fire Demons to the bill makes sense. Should be a hot, hot show!

Word is Arcata’s most metaltastic band has a CD about to pop forth into the A-town consciousness.

Speaking of MySpace, the ever-genius Lila Nelson made up a song (for her KHUM 104.3 FM “Write Your Own Damn Songs” moment) all about said networking site: “I Accept Everybody (Tom, My Millionaire Friend).”
